What We Do:
- Provide the best possible quality of life through pain control and management of symptoms such as
shortness of breath, fatigue, constipation, nausea, loss of appetite and difficulty sleeping
- Develop a plan of care consistent with the patient/ family's cultural, social, religious and spiritual beliefs
- Review advanced directives and POLST (Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment)
- Discuss prognosis, disease course and realistic expectations
- Coordinate care with all the physicians on the case
